Students training in the World Martial Arts Center dojang

About us

A dojang built around families

Traditional taekwondo, taught patiently

World Martial Arts Center has been teaching taekwondo in Anaheim for decades. Under Master Jae Kwon Kim, students learn the traditional Korean art — forms, sparring, breaking and the etiquette that ties it all together.

Classes are structured but never intimidating. Beginners start where they are, with instructors who know every student by name and coach them belt by belt. Many of our black belts started here as five-year-olds; plenty of our adult students started with no athletic background at all.

Parents consistently tell us the biggest change happens outside the dojang: better focus in school, more respect at home, and a kid who believes they can finish hard things.
